There was a ton of action over the past week on Full Tilt Poker’s high-stakes tables.

Despite winning some of the largest pots during the span at $400-$800 no-limit hold’em, Viktor “Isildur1” Blom managed to drop more than $1.4 million. The losses bring his yearly earnings back to $1.8 million, according to data from HighstakesDB. Blom has played nearly 280,000 hands this year, which is one of the highest totals in cyberspace.

His profits might sound great, but he was up more than $5 million at one point in January.

German poker professional Niklas “ragen70” Heinecker had another amazing week at the tables, this time winning $793,000. He won $2 million last week. He has won more than $7 million on the year between live and online play.

Like it has been over the past few months, the action has been driven in large part by unknown Macau account MalACEsia. This player has been gambling it up big time at $400-$800 no-limit hold’em shorthanded, and as a result many of the top poker pros in the world have come out to take a shot at the latest mark.

Despite being lesser skilled, MalACEsia actually won the largest hand over the past seven days.

The action began in the aforementioned hand with Rhje raising from under the gun to $2,400. HelicopterBen82 was next to act and called. The action was folded to MalACEsia on the button and s/he made it $12,000. Both blinds released, and Rhje made the call. HelicopterBen82 woke up with a four-bet to $39,200. MalACEsia five-bet to $79,200. Rhje folded, and HelicopterBen82 shoved all-in for just under $219,000 total. MalACEsia made the immediate call.

MalACEsia’s pocket kings were up against the AClub Suit KClub Suit of HelicopterBen82.

The flop of 7Club Suit 7Spade Suit 5Club Suit was incredibly scary for the pocket kings, but the turn brought the 4Diamond Suit and the river the 6Heart Suit to give MalACEsia the $451,000 monster hand.

MalACEsia might have won that crucial hand in the session, but s/he about an hour later gave nearly all of it back thanks to a really aggressive play with a pocket pair.

MalACEsia opened the action to $2,400, and Trueteller made it $8,800. Action was folded back to MalACEsia who made it $20,800. Trueteller called.

The flop fell AClub Suit 8Diamond Suit 7Heart Suit, and MalACEsia bet $20,400. Trueteller called.

The turn brought the 8Club Suit, and MalACEsia bet $43,600. Trueteller called again.

The 10Club Suit fell on the river, and MalACEsia put Trueteller all in for $177,000.

Trueteller called with the 7Club Suit 6Club Suit for a rivered flush, while MalACEsia exposed the 9Club Suit 9Heart Suit.

Over the course of the week, MalACEsia dropped around $330,000 at the $400-$800 no-limit hold’em tables and is down $2.8 million on the year so far.

The biggest winner on the week was Denoking — also an account with no real name attached to it — who raked in around $1.2 million in these games.

Still impressive to say the least but watch out for players like Niklas “ragen70” Heinecker and MalACEsia. Even thought Niklas is considered a PRO, he is still part of the newer generation of poker players.
