PartyGaming, best known for it's online poker room PartyPoker.com, is reportedly involved in takeover talks with GigaMedia Limited, the company behind online poker site EverestPoker.com.


(Gibraltar-based PartyGaming settled a legal dispute with United States authorities in April for providing online gambling services to Americans prior to the implementation of the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act of 2006. Didn't like the last software update because it removed support for windows 9x and still hasn't introduced Linux version which my big screen machine runs. Multi tabling on a 17inch CRT monitor is not much fun, hence Fulltilt have shot themselves in the foot as far as collecting any more rake goes.
