Sadly, just a cheap knockoff of the PokerStars weekly Round 1/Round 2 freerolls. . .with much worse odds of getting a ticket in Round 1 or cash in Round 2. Nice try 'Tilt, but try to improve on 'Stars, not just copy them...and then do it not as well. . . πŸ˜”

Now some would say that this should improve the level of play -- lessen the donk factor -- but I beg to differ and predict it will only become worse. . .

When people have actually grabbed a ticket for the Round 1, please give us idea of how much time was invested to win one. Thanks. . .

Just wanted to post for ixgames members to participate if they wanted too

won't disagree with your comments - I personally prefer to play on FT - but that's just me

yep sure it's gonna be a donkfest - but as I said my main reason for posting was to inform people of the tourneys anyway
and let them decide if they wanted to take a shot!

P.S. if i do manage to get a ticket I will let u know ;-)

Wow, gotta finish in the top 250 out of 10000? That's tough, and you'd better have 8 hours of free time on your hands...

So how many qualifiers do they run that feed into the round 2 freeroll? If the round 2 tournament is small then it may be worth the time put into round 1, but a 10K member tournament is gonna take forever...not to mention you may just get bumped out by fish playing a 23o to the river on you. I'd hate to think this was a feeder into another 10K member tournament...

30k in the weekly...
That's a MAXIMUM of 30K in the weekly. Depending on what the entry system is for the Round 2 some may choose not to play and take whatever buy-in was awarded for Round 2 and either save it or use it for something more reasonable. . .

PokerStars uses a ticket system where you can unreg and save it for another week. Does FT do the same? Or are they registering you w/ FT points? And can you unreg and keep the points? Curious minds want to know.

Regardless, the odds are sure to be pretty long for cashing in Round 2. . ..

And the 30K is a fantasy anyway as the math doesn't work out:
250 qualifiers x 12 qualifers/day x 7 days = 21,000 max entries.
Better than 30K, but still a very looooooooooooooooooooooooong shot to make top 90. . .

saw one of these either fri or sat mornin after i got home from bein out and played one, earned my spot for next week already. my advice just play premium and dont give it much of your attention til final few hundred to 1000left. i built a good stack by just playin solid then pretty much sat on it til final few hundred. easier ticket to get than ya might think. good luck ya'll!

It might be interesting to play this at least once if you have the time. In a field this big it will be an all out donk fest for quite awhile and knock out quite a few people. I'm not sure I'd want to do it very often. The big problem is that some people get really lucky donking their way through and about the time you think your set of cowboys has things wrapped up, they take half your roll with 4 deuces or something. But that's poker, I guess. Might check it out if I have that much time some day.

I have heard from a fellow member at another forum exactly that. If you unregister there is no way back in, it seems, and you don't appear to have a saved ticket for another week. Yet one more way that FT is a cheap imitation of what 'Stars is doing. . .

A pretty low percentage payout (<1%) and you have to spend 3 or 4 hours to qualify. I think their other freerolls are better, at least regarding the time investment.

Doesnt sound worth the time. Ill stick to forum FRs. Games like that are bad for your poker game. I consider a game like that strictly for beginners.

probably not worth the time (if you don't have it)

I can't see why you think its bad for your poker game?
reason:
I know at first these games can be donkfest but to stay in the game until the end will surely improve your game as you will have to learn how to play against a big field with different types of players with different levels of play imo which will benefit your poker game

also just learning to have patience when playing a long tourney (which i would consider VERY important in poker) and not play unnecessary hands etc. has got to be of benefit

I don't also see why its only for beginners - some people would say that about any freeroll - surely any play is helpful to keep your head in the game
and why not play something like this; agreed you won't get a pro in here but any experience gained in any walk of life is an advantage.

"your still learning till you die"

this is of course just my opinion and you are of course entitled to yours!
gl at the tables!
