Bayern are back on track after 4-0 and 3-0 wins against Mainz and at Schalke. The injury of captain Manuel Neuer is a huge blow form them, but with lots of depth in outfield positions, manager Carlo Ancelotti will be able to rotate without losing too much quality on the pitch. Wolfsburg started well in new manager Martin Schmidt's debut against Bremen in midweek, but the side had to contend with a 1-1 draw in the end.
