Not quite '' Friends'' i would dare to say due to the known love Of the Greeks for the Serbs ( and vice versa ) no matter lot of Croatian players came to play in greece and built a Career or continue the great one they had already. We have seen them playing mostly in Panathinaikos either in the Basketball team but also for the Football team. AEK athens had also their share of Croatians.
But Tonight for the Qualification round of World Cup the Croatians who have 12 wins out of the 15 while playing at home would create an ' inferno'' for the Greeks which will only grow as the minutes pass and Croatia still missing scoring.
Greece, after winnin the second ticket in their Group against the favorites of Bosnia Herzegovina are travelling to Croatia with some serious problems at least in Defense.
Manolas -of Rome - and Papastathopoulos - Ex AEK Athens and now in Dortumund - will be unavelaible for this onea nd the defense of the Greeks will miss certainly two of the most important players they can afford.
Usually the Greeks perform better while being under pressure and as Mr no less Winston Churchill said '' We will not say hereafter that the Greeks fight like heroes ,but that they heroes fight like the Greeks''.
Tonight in Croazia Greece needs 11 heroes for them to join in their Friendly Country Russia the World Cup Series.
