Despite almost losing the second set, she managed to recover and finish the match. Vondrousova is a former Wimbledon champion and, personally, I see her as a more stable tennis player than Emma who, after her US Open win 4 years ago, has not found any consistency and has not performed well during the grass season, losing to Zheng in London. She also withdrew from Eastbourne early and even said that she doesn't expect much from herself at this Wimbledon. I think she will have a tough time against the 318th-ranked player from Peru, who doesn't seem to be a threat.
