Na pagaliau Vašingtonas nutraukė 7 pralaimėjimų seriją ir paskutiniame ture iškovojo pergalę prieš Montrealį išvykoje. Šiąnakt dar viena išvyka į kitą Kanados miestą Buffalą. Ir čia vėl tikimasi pergalės. Kadangi klubas konferencijoje nukrito į 13 vietą ir darosi labai karštą kovose dėl vietos play-offuose, kadangi sostinės klubą nuo 8-tos vietos skiria 3 taškai. Na Buffalo ekipa, kaip ir buvo tikėtasi prieš sezoną, taip ir yra, kad konferencijos autsaiderė ir nelabai ką gali pasiūlyti šį sezoną. Paskutiniai 5 mačai savo arenoje pralaimėti dar šeimininkams nepadės šiandien trys puolėjai D.Stafford (46/7), C.McCormick (25/1) ir M.D\'Agostini (20/2). Pas svečius nežais tik puolėjas M. Grabovski (49/12), tačiau ir be jo yra kam mušti įvarčius, tad tikiuosi šian sostinės komandos pergalės.
