Paskutinis lietuvių pasirengimas prieš Europos čempionato atranką su kaimynais lenkais. Taip kaimynams mes neparankus varžovas, nuo 2000m. buvo sužaisti 4 mačai, vienerias laimėjo lenkai, dvejas lietuviai ir kartą rungtynės baigėsi lygiosiomis. Lietuvos komandos sudėtyje po Baltijos taurės turnyro įvyko keli pasikeitimai. Gynėjas A. Vilkaitis prisijungė prie jaunimo (U-21) rinktinės. Dėl šeimyninių priežasčių į Lenkiją nevyks saugas Arvydas Novikovas. Su komanda taip pat atsisveikino T. Eliošius ir M. Kalonas. Komandą papildė trys žaidėjai, tai M. Kuklys, G. Vičius bei V. Andriuškevičius. Tuo tarpu pas lenkus bus beveik visos žvaigždės R. Lewandowski, L. Piszczek, W. Szczesny ir kitus. Tiesa, dėl traumos lenkams padėti negalės Dortmundo „Borussia“ saugas J. Blaszczykowski. Nemanau, kad šiandien lietuviams pavyks ištempti bent lygiąsias. Ir tikiuosi lenkų pergalės bent dvejais įvarčiais. Tuo labiau kai namus palaikys gausiai susirinkę žiūrovai ir jų lygiosios tikrai netenkins.
