Willem II šią vasarą paliko daug svarbių žaidėjų: Ruud Swinkels (1st GK, 36/0), Ruud Boymans (ATT 36/27g TOPSCORER), Gaby Jallo (DF 27/0g ), Norair Aslanyan-Mamedov (MF22/2g ), Jonas Heymans (DF 12/5), Denny Landzaat (MF 10/0g), Mats van Huijgevoort (DF 2/0g), Kees van Buuren (DF 8/0g), Mitch van der Ven (MF 1/0g), Jeroen Lumu (MF 8/1g ), Jens Podevijn (MF 4/0g ), Vura (MF 4/0g), Zarko Grabovac (ATT 7/0g). Komanda turi tik 5 gynėjus, o prieš kelias savaites jie neturėjo nei vieno puolėjo. Iš naujų komandų Olandijos pirmenybėse šią komandą vertinu geriausiai, tačiau jei prireiks laiko, kad parodytų gerą žaidimą.

Praeitais metais PSV sezoną pradėjo fantastiškai, tačiau Wijnaldum gavo traumą ir šiokios tokios vidaus problemos su Toivonenu padarė savo. Treneris Cocu nesugebėjo to ištaisyti ir tai buvo didelė klaida. Dabar komandoje nėra nereikalingo Toivoneno. PSV turi stipriausia puolimo liniją lygoje su tokiais žaidėjais kaip Depay, De Jong ir Narsingh. Taip pat jų saugai labai stiprūs, sugebantys atlikti net labai sunkius uždavinius: Wijnaldum, Maher, Schaars, Hiljemark, Ritzmaier ir Vloet. Vienintelė komandos bėda gynyba, ši problema kamuoja ne pirmus metus, tačiau tai pakankamai solidi gynyba prieš šiandienos varžovus, kurie prarado savo komandos Ronaldo, puolėją Boymansą.

    I'm not expecting anything other than open football and goals here. The two Dutch giants who don't struggle in the first half but perform well in the second half, consistently scoring goals. The AZ team on average generates over 3.5 goals in their matches, both scoring and conceding almost the same amount (36:35 goal difference in 21 matches). Ajax has scored an average of over 3 goals in their 41 matches and their defense looks leaky in away matches, but they still manage to score over at home. Considering that AZ also has a strong record at home with an average of 4 goals per match, and the same goes for Ajax in away matches. By the way, AZ scored 6-0 against Ajax in the first period, but let's not expect a repeat of that, although there should be plenty of goals and I'm hoping for a 2-2 scoreline.
