Novgorodas absuoliučiai nemėgsta numušto varžybų tempo ir bando greitai užbėgti vos tam atsiranda menkiausia galimybė.
Visiška priešingybė yra šių metų Žalgiris. Su Realu pademonstravo gražią, kokybišką gynybą su gerais pasikeitimais prie pick and rollo. Novgorod tikrai neturi gerų gynybos specialistų ir 1x1 turi valgyti juos Žalgirio legionierius. Po krepšiu ryški Žalgirio persvara, ties perimetru galima tikrai susistabdyti jų lyderius. Žalgiris namuose visada žaidžia labai galingai ir meta iššukį beveik visiems Eurolygos grandams. Novgorodo tikrai nepriskirčiau prie stipriausių Europos klubų ir sustabdyti keletą individualistų tikrai galima.
