Pirmame rate gavo ispaną Venturą. Jei ne ispano trauma - jo jau čia nebebūtų. Visgi, jam pasisekė patekti į antrą ratą, todėl tenka laukti jo iškritimo.
Kas dėl Tavares, tai šiais metais kiek nustebino labai geru žaidimu Manerbio turnyre, kur nugalėjęs Berlocq'ą ir Vanek'ą nuėjo iki finalo. Šitame turnyre vėl atrodo gerai - praėjo kvalifikaciją, kur apsilošė ispaną Gradin'ą ir pirmame rate sutriuškino argentinietį Roitman'ą. Jis čia pavojingas ir tokį varžovą kaip Delgado reikia aplošti su maža minusine fora.

    Risk is known, but Picchione is not at the same level as a tennis player. He seems to have a decent game, but he is an ITF player trying to establish himself in challengers, but he struggles there. Yes, he beat Martínez, who didn't seem to be doing much in that match, but now he is facing another Italian, Pallegrino, who in my opinion, can break his opponent's serve and return well when he wants to. He has a good serve, and can also return well, overall it's not a bad season for him, he could have achieved more titles, but he only managed to win one Italy challenger. Essentially, one set could be closer, but overall I think Pallegrino should have a double break in one of the two sets, since Picchione makes too many mistakes and Pallegrino knows how to take advantage of that.
