Abi komandos žaidžia prastai, Detroitas turi 8 pralaimėjimų seriją, be to pralaimėjo pastaruosius 6 mačus namie, tačiau čia serija turėtų nutrūkt. Varžovas tam daugiau nei tinkamas - komanda, priklausoma nuo Kobes nuotaikos. Iš Deitroito po pernai prastoko pasirodymo tikrai tikėjausi duagiau, komandos sudėtis gana neblogai žiūrisi, atėjo neblogas trenkas Van Gundy ir nemažai kas tikėjosi, jog sustyguos žaidimą. Tačiau kol kas to nematyt, tačiau komanda turi potencialo. Taip pat Drummond nedemonstruoja to kas iš jo tikimasi, tačiau keli pastarieji mačai parodė, jog po biški ir jis atsigauna (išsskyrus paskutinį grajų). Priekinė linija turėtų gerai apdaužyt šonus Lakersam ir nutraukt tą nelemtą nesėkmių seriją.

    The playoffs have already begun and there is no excuse, the team GSW does not seek and does not have a back-to-back situation. Starting 5 with Podziemski and Moody is 13-0 while Curry and Butler together are 19-2.
