Pirmos rungtynės abiem komandoms, LA padaryta nedidele favorite. Praėjusį sezoną Seattle nepateko į play offs bei pralaimėjo prieš LA visas sezono rungtynes. Atleido trenerį, kuris perėjo būtent į LA - tas suteikia papildomos intrigos šioms rungtynėms.
Manau Seattle turi geresnes galimybes čia laimėti nei sako koeficientai. Kaip minėjau praeitoje apžvalgoje, Seattle šiame sezone gerokai atsinaujinęs - gavo 1 ir 3 šaukimus biržoje. Ikisezoninėse neblogai atrodė prieš čempiones Phoenix (ten žaidė ir suspenduota Griner) - laimėjo namie, gerai sukovojo svečiuose.
LA praeitame sezone į play offs pateko, bet šiaip nieko ypatingo sezone nerodė. Maža to, jų pernykštė lyderė Candice Parker ilsisi po sezono Rusijoje ir prisijungs tik kažkada vėliau. Ikisezonėse atrodė gerai - laimėjo svečiuose prieš Connecticut (turbūt silpniausia lygos komanda) ir Čikagą (nebloga).

Jėgų balansas šį sezoną atrodo pasikeitęs Seatlle naudai ir su namų sienų pagalba šiandien turėtų leisti Seattle nutraukti praleimėjimų prieš LA seriją.

Only 2 over goals in their last 10 home games. And now Storm arrives, a team that is not strong defensively, but in terms of offensive rating holds 3rd place from the bottom.

    Liberty Ghana's overine team, although not one of the fastest, often adapts to their opponents while playing away and manages to catch up in basketball, but they play more disciplined during home games. They have only had 2 overs in their past 10 home games. And now they face Storm, a team that may not have strong defense, but is ranked 3rd in offense. They have been successful against Liberty and have recently been able to defend handicaps and win. Despite having a few losses, most of their games have been intense battles.
