Rosolis gina 250 taškų, pernai išnešė visą turnyrą kiek netikėtai. Montrealyje Gulbis įveikė čeką, vyko trijų setų kova, tada rinkausi latvį, bet šįkart jau einu su Rosoliu. Gulbis visgi lieka Gulbiu, Vancuveryje atsidūbasinta nuo Marchenkos, stabilumas nėra geriausias latvio draugas, kitą savaitę startuoja US Openas, metas keliauti į NY ir pasitreniruoti su kokiu Nole, čia pakeliui užsuko apšilt lengvai ir trauks į kur kas svarbesnį turnyrą. Varžovai daugmaž apylygūs, bet šios dienos aplinkybės verčia rinktis čeko pergalę.
