Ladies and gentlemen.. it's DEJA VU ALL OVER AGAIN this March. If anyone thinks for even a second that The Iceman's recent success is the product of "luck", "chance" or "coincidence"... THINK AGAIN!
- March 2013: 89-60 +$10,549
- March 2014: 72-48 +$6,058
- March 2015: 97-58 +$13,219
- March 2016: 69-38 +$16,611
The Flames are coming off a demoralizing 8-3 loss at the Duck Pond last night, their 23rd consecutive loss in Anaheim. They are in another tough spot here tonight, playing the Kings in the second game of a back to back. The Ducks just passed the Kings to take over the top spot in the Pacific Division, and we'll see a team highly motivated to take back the division lead.

The Flames are 1-6 in their last seven when playing on back to back nights. They rank dead last in the NHL in goals against, and own the league's most futile penalty killing unit. Goaltending certainly isn't a strength, and last night we saw Jonas Hiller pulled after surrendering three goals on five shots. Niklas Backstrom didn't do any better, as he was torched for five goals on 22 shots. We could see Joni Ortio tonight, who is 5-8-4 with a 2.76 GAA this season. He's lost two of his last three starts, surrendering seven goals in those games.

The Kings have won nine of their last 11 at Staples Center, and I expect to see a convincing win for the home team here tonight.
