CL. Na abi komandos keliaus toliau, kadangi trečioji komanda "Sheffield" tiesiog per silpni, kad pasipriešintų Austrijos ar Švedijos grandams. Dar tik sezono pradžia, be Čempionų lygos ekipos žaidžia dar ir draugiškus susitikimus. "Salzburg" sužaidė dvi draugiškas prieš Šveicarijos ekipas, rezultatu 7-4 pralaimėjo "Lausanne" ir rezultatu 3-4 nugalėjo "Fribourg" ekipą. Vienintelėse CL rungtynėse namie "Sheffield" klubą sutriuškino 8-1. Tuo tarpu HV draugiškas žaidė prieš vietines komandas: 1-3 pralaimėta "Vaxjo", 5-3 nugalėta "Malmo" ir 4-3 "Frolunda", tuo tarpu jau abi varžybas sužaidė ir su "Sheffield", abi rungtynės laimėtos 5-2 ir 5-3 rezultatais. Kaip matosi iš rezultatų, RB Salzburg, gana rezultatyvi komanda, puikia gynyba nepasižyminti, ką galima teigti ir apie varžovus, kurie britų atstovams sugebėjo prasileisti net po porą įvarčių. Tad šiandien nusimato puikios rungtynės su įvarčių šou.
