Praeitame mače Rytas sužaidė prasčiau nei galėjo. Didelę įtaką tam padarė tas, jog teisėjai dažnai leido kietą kovą, kas yra labai neparanku Ryto krepšininkams. Tiek Skučas, tiek Janavičius ne kartą įmetė points kuomet nusistūmė savo varžovą alkūne ar korpusu. Aišku, ant teisėjų nepykstu, darbą jie atliko puikų, o tokio lygio rungtynėse, kur daug apsistumdymų, teisėjauti ir priimti sprendimus yra sunku. Dabar antrosiose rungtynėse turėtų būti under fizinio kontakto po visos kritikos ir komentarų po pirmųjų rungtynių. Pastarajame mače Gordonas silpnai pradėjo, atrodė visiškai pasimetęs, bet jis yra Ghana stabilus žaidėjas, todėl turėtų antrosiose pradėti stipriai. Būtent silpna Gordono pradžia ir lėmė prastą laikraščio startą.

Žalgiris easily passed through the Mažeikiai barrier, now it's time for the semi-finals and the opponent is also more serious. I don't know, but when important games come for Zalgiris players, I hope for a more active defense. Bickauskis hasn't been collecting a high number of points lately, and points are usually gathered from 3-pointers. So 7 points seems quite a lot.
