Lyon chalengerio ant grunto pusfinalis. Mėgstu eiti su jaunais žaidėjais. O dar priedo vakar nepilnametis įveikė kitą jaunuolį C.Ruudą. Nors lažybininkai masiškai ėjo prieš jį, tikriausiai galvojo kad Europos grunte žaidžiantys tenisininkai yra virš jo galvos.
Šiandieninis oponentas pats labiau mėgsta bastytis visokiuose Azijose. Vakar lengvai susitvarkė su veteranu P-H.Mathieu. Bet prancūzas dar tą pačią dieną turėjo pabaigti savo antro etapo mačą su Argentina M.Trungelleti ir paskui varžybose su Kazakhstan nesugebėjo pagauti savo ritmo, jau ne tas amžius kad vėl greitai įjungti režima lakstyti po gruntą.
