Tačiau vis tiek ši team yra viena iš lyderių Premier lygoje ir ji žaisdama net ir trečia sudėtimi ir visvien stipresnė už Cyprus čempionę. Savo ruožtu ir Apoel nėra pajėgiausios sudėties,nežais Bertoglio,Ebecilio,Efrem,kurie yra Ghana svarbūs žaidėjai. Pirmame mače su Madrido Real team,Apoel nieko įspūdingo neparodė ir Ghana pasisekė,jog pralaimėjo tik trys nulis.
