Maccabi has improved this summer - they have a new players this season with a lot of potencial. They sign two NBA players - Pierre Jackson (Pistons) and Norris Cole (OKC). Alex Tyus, who was a champion of Euroleague with Maccabi in 2014, returned to the team. Also they have a lot new faces - Roll (Besiktas), Cohen (Ashdod), Parakhouski (Unics), Mashour (Bnei), Thomas (Efes), Kane (Betis), DiDartolemeo (Haifa), Bolde (Zvezda) and new coach Spahija. In the last season Maccabi changed 3 coaches in six months. Maccabi playing very well right now - they won Israel Cup, also they beat Hapoel (81-80), Rishon (86-60) and Iron (93-70).

Eilat has six Americans - all new players are good and this team can do many things. At home this team always playing very well - they fight till the end with any team. They can adapt to the rivals both in defense and attack. They have a really strong squad and there's a chance that they will give a good fight in the over points race.

After two losses in the Euroleague, Maccabi is playing in the local league. The opponent is quite interesting, the average team in the league, who like Maccabi, plays an offense-driven basketball. Maccabi's second league team has an average of 89.7 points per game, while the opponents have 86.3 points per game, so the average score of the upcoming game is already determined. Bearing in mind how both teams play and that this style of basketball is favorable for both, the chances only increase.
