Not taking away anything from Stephens' Grand Slam win, but if you discount her three big performances during the North American hard-court swing (Toronto, Cincinnati & US Open) she would struggle to get into Top 200 and wouldn't be playing at Zhuhai this week.

Sevastova is generally consistent with her performance in a way she either goes deep or exits very early in a tournament. She has claimed one WTA Title in 2017 at WTA Mallorca (second title in her career) and reached the semi-finals at two other WTA events (Madrid and Dubai). The Latvian's W/L record in 2017- 35/23.

I guess they play exactly the same, so over is good choice

    Humbert, Ugo - Koepfer, Dominik

Perhaps Koepfer is a high-level tennis player on clay courts and even won two matches against Humbert (one was on grass), but here the surface is clay and the Frenchman plays at home and has been performing very well this season. So both of them are not clay court specialists, but from what I have seen, Koepfer is not very successful on clay this season, while Humbert has already surprised and impressed several times. Therefore, I believe that the outcome of this match should be clear.

The American does not shine, but I liked his performance against Munar and I believe he has the potential to win. Tiafoe's level is very high and although his results on clay are not the best, I think the Frenchman will struggle against Tiafoe. Both have good serves, but Tiafoe's game should give him a big advantage, so I trust the Americans.

    (Arthur Rinderknech) @130 8/10
The Frenchman will have support from the stands, he has a good serve, and is also strong in rallies. Tiafoe is in very poor form, having just ended a 4-game losing streak yesterday, but his game was not solid. Rinderknecht also struggled with his serve against Evans, but managed to pull through, even scoring 20 aces. I believe big Foe will fall and prepare for the French Open.
