It is little wonder Goncharenko spoke earlier about the potentially negative impact on his own side of Pogba's domestic ban, as he would have been hoping not to have to face the Frenchman with CSKA's two usual central midfielders, Wernbloom and Natcho, both injured. In their place, he is expected to field a couple of his young players, with teenagers Khosonov and Kuchaev the two tipped to start by the visiting press contingent from Moscow.
Goncharenko: "You were just talking about Manchester United's home record and now we're talking about another outcome – a 3-0 for us. We're not thinking about either. What I want to say is we have to do our best. Every team has a chance to win."
Nemanja Matić will also be absent tomorrow owing to an injury. This should mean either Scott McTominay or Ander Herrera coming in to deputise for the Serbian alongside Pogba. Mourinho said: "We have problems, we have injuries. Matić is injured and when I say he is injured, he is injured. I am not going to make him play tomorrow so Matić is out."
Both Teams - With many players out. ManU won't be having Pogba, Matic, Herrera?... It won't be easy, but there is good side too, CSKA team also injured with many youngsters from academy or bench will join team. If we compare Bench players from ManU team and CSKA there is clear message ManU will win more thant 1-2 goals.
