It doesn't seem like Žalgiris is still at the beginning of the season, as the team on the court plays like a well-coordinated unit. Everything seems to be working according to plan, and they use handicaps and short bursts of play brilliantly, even with specific players. Even on a bad day, one of the leaders will step up (after all, this season we chose over 1 in the study). On top of all that, they will be playing against perhaps the most disliked team at the moment - Zvezda. We will see those Russian flags and unpleasant chants, which I believe will only motivate the players and coaches (especially Lithuania).

One of the most reliable players in the Zvezda team, playing many minutes, has a pretty fun wristband and can punish Žalgiris from Peru, although I wouldn't say he is the best considering his level and quality. Žalgiris is a better team in all aspects. History shows that the Kacapai flag does not intimidate Žalgiris, but instead motivates them even more. They have won against this small team for 3 consecutive years. The coach may have changed, but I don't believe it will make a difference. The team has been heavily affected by injuries. I think Žalgiris is underrated, as they have been throughout this season in all matches.

The Serbian club is quite favorable for Žalgiris, as shown by the last 6 meetings between them, all of which were won by Žalgiris. With 3 consecutive away victories, Žalgiris always performs well against this team, which seems to be performing worse than usual this season. They did manage to defeat Fenerbahçe, but before that they lost in the ABA league at home, so I believe we can confidently bet on Žalgiris with the minus.
