Pels are toast in this series. I mean, they could survive only one quarter in Game 1. Bad news Part II -- Steph Curry reportedly will play in Game 2. Good luck with that, New Orleans. Warriors as double digit favorites on 11-pt spread don't interest me one bit because I am going for overs here. Alvin Gentry admitted did not have any secrets about tactics. They will go with Warriors at a very high pace which means a lot of scoring. The first game actually was set at the same mark for totals as this one and ended up one bucket short because both teams cleared benches and reserves smh failed to score enough. Curry is back and will get that extra couple points.

The very first preseason NBA game ended with a total of 183 points between the 76ers and the Knicks. Despite having potentially stronger offensive teams now, I don't think there will still be a high scoring game. The leaders are being rested, it's the first game and it's difficult to find the right rhythm, so I don't expect a lot of points. The total is set at around 55 points per quarter, and it's a neutral game, so I think it will be quite difficult to reach that point total.
