Australian Open, Melbourne Park, men's singles, 1/8 finals: Alexander Zverev vs Milos Raonic.
The 4th Alexander Zverev meets with the 17th Milos Raonic at the Rod Laver Arena on Monday a.m. The will be the battle of the day. Both players in good form but I was a little surprised when I saw that the bookies are thinking that Raonic is the underdog. Raonic has a really good AO so far, he beat Kyrgios, Wawrinka and Herbert, by the way the Canadian lost only one set on these three matches.
On the other side Zverev had a problem against Chardy in the second round where he forced to a final set. Zverev best GS result was at the French Open in the last year where he reached to the quarterfinals but beside this usually he has fallen out at least in the 1/8 finals.
This will be their 3rd meeting. Their last meeting was at Wimbledon in 2017, then Raonic won to 3:2.
