Įveiktas tuo metu gerą formą demonstravęs Nevėžis, tik po prątesimo pralaimėta PPŽ, kuri iš paskutiniųjų 10 susitikimų LKL laimėjo 9, o Žalgiriui pralaimėti 15t tikrai ne gėda. Tuo tarpu Prienai negali jau win 5 rungtynių iš eilės, iš jų bent kiek pasipriešino tik KMT ketvirfinalyje Neptūnui.
