Titulą ginanti praėjusių metų čempionė davė žinutę pirmame rate, kad į titulo gynybą atvyko pasiruošusi puikiai ir norint ją įveikti reiks žaisti aukšto lygio tenisą. Nors ir sezonas nesiklosto, tačiau būtent čia gali kompensuoti visas iki šiol buvusis nesėkmes. Jaunoji Kazakhstan atstovė šiemet laimėjo 3 ITF turnyrus, viename žaidė finale, visi ant kietosios dangos. Čia praeita kvalifikacija, abu mačai po varžovių pasitraukimo antrajame sete, pirmame rounde įveikta ne itin geros formos Siniakova. ŠIEMET WTA ture buvo žaisti TIK 2 mačai (neskaitant vakarykščio) prieš Zhu AO ir Hungary Bonaventure - abu pralaimėti. Tad nemanau, kad puikiai pasiruošusią, titulą ginančią prancūzę ji yra pajėgi įveikti. ITF nuo WTA vis tik lygiu skiriasi, na ir dar kai gauni motyvuotą, ant clay dar silpnesniuose turnyruose gerai žaidžiančią prancūzę - šansai minimalūs.
Tad šiandien titulo gynyba manau bus pratęsta be vargo ir mačą Parmentier paims per du setss.

Against Muchova, she had two match points and I was watching the match, evaluating it with my own eyes.
