Lithuania didn't look to good offensively. The shooting was quite poor from them with them shooting 31.3% from 3, 31.1% from 2 and only 62% from the free throw line. However, going forward Lithuania did some impressive ball movement despite only shooting poorly and scoring just 76 points but Lithuania did manage to get 22 assists as a team with only 12 turnovers.
USA destroyed New Zealand in their first match 111-71. The team look great offensively and defensively. Offensively they shot 64% from the 2 point line, the Free Throws were shot 77%, but the only problem was the 3 point shooting where they only made 3 from 17 from outside. The team player with a very fast pace, scored 28 fastbreak points. Defensively USA pressed pretty much throughout the whole match they got 15 rebounds turning into 33 points. And of course they got 31 assists in that match.
Lithuania are a higher level team than New Zealand which is why I think they are capable of putting up a stronger fight to USA. I also don't believe that Lithuania will shoot as poorly as yesterday. USA however should play like they always do their quick paced basketball, should continue to press and after every bad Lithuania attack, they will go on a fastbreak offense. I also don't think that they will shoot as poorly from 3 as they did yesterday. Over in my opinion is a good pick for this match up.
