Blachowicz were just one step away from a fight against Jon Jones for the title, but messed up in the 3rd round against Thiago Santos who will not fight for the title in the same UFC 239. The Polishman is very underestimated here. Throughout his youth he trained Muay Thai, then won the black belt jiu jitsu for a very known Joe Morreira. Very technically good fighter, is smart. He prepares well for his fights and we shouldn't worry about his form.

Luke Rockhold has been in the 185lbs division throughout his career and is now jumping into new waters (205 division). Of course if would be silly to think that it will be too tough for him here because the men are bigger and etc because realistically to fight in 185 division he had to lose a lot weight. He's slightly taller than the Pole and on a normal day walks at 215-220lbs. Theoretically it could be a better division for him, but you never know. He has a black belt jiu-jitsu and often uses his legs. However he is a cocky man and is definitely underestimating his opponent here. He has an injury and ever since he hasn't won a match most recently losing to Yoel Romero.

Rockhold has a poor take down defense so if the Pole wants to fight on the floor and believes his jiu-jitsu more then he could definitely achieve that. At worst this is a 50/50 match.
