Liverpool had a poor pre-season, so Man City will have an advanteage. Klopp has alrady mentioned that such cups are bullshit and it shouldn't stay. Liverpool will probably play without Sadio Mane who could rest after Africa Nations Cup and this is a huge loss. Man City team has all almost all players, only Mendy but Zinchenko will replace him, so it is not a big of a deal.
