Το να ποντάρει κανείς πάνω στη Σίτι, σε παιχνίδι Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ και κόντρα σε μια ομάδα με τόσο βαριά φανέλα, είναι λίγο "τρελό". Παρά τους παιχταράδες και τις όσες μεταγραφές κάνει η Σίτι κάθε καλοκαίρι, στο Τσάμπιονς Λιγκ είναι μια ομάδα της σειράς. Φέτος όμως ίσως τα πράγματα είναι διαφορετικά. Φυσικά δεν είναι μια άποψη του αέρα αυτή, το μαρτυρούν τα αποτελέσματα με τη Γιούβε να έχει ήττα (Ουντινέζε, εντός), ήττα (Ρόμα εκτός) και ισοπαλία (Κιέβο, εντός) στην εκκίνηση του πρωταθλήματος. Άσος λοιπόν για την φορμαρισμένη και σοβαρή (ελπίζω) Σίτι.
