Although Paderborn has been performing well lately, it is a club that competes in a lower league and is considered one of the weaker German clubs. However, Bayer has a history of success and is still full of talent and capable of playing successfully. Given the situation in the Bundesliga and the Champions League, this is realistically their only chance at winning a title. With a strong track record, Bayer appears to be the clear favorite in their match against a lower league club.

There have also been frequent surprises in the cup, which is why I see this as a favorable situation.

The teams played against each other last weekend and Stuttgart won 2-1. There were 5 yellow cards shown (which should have been more), but the game ended with fights/disturbances which I have no doubt Peru was involved in. Also, the referee Aytekin has a record of showing lots of cards this season, with 4 out of 4 games being overs and 3 red cards shown, which I believe is highly possible for today's game as well.
