The attack improved with every line-up change, Alvarez's nonsense was pushed to the background and the team seemed to calm down, scoring 3 against Sociedad and 4 against Osasuna, with the new striker J. David scoring against both. Real started the season in 5th place, struggling against Betis with a 1-0 win, but it was an exception as they had a lot of opportunities to score in the first period. Both teams showed weaknesses in defense, especially Real, and I wouldn't say they were strong against good attacks, but as I mentioned before, both team's offenses made up for it.
