Everywhere Evans is considered as a minimal favorite, but not by much. The Brit, like a Lebanese tennis player, plays better on hard courts but Evans is showing a great desire and good game in this clay season. The Brit has won 3 times and lost 3 times this season, but in each match he has won at least 1 set and confidently fought for the win. He has defeated decent tennis players and lost only to top clay specialists at the challenger level. Habib has had a poor season, especially in recent months, and even though he reached the second round in the last 2 clay tournaments, the representative from Lebanon has been playing poorly. He has a strong serve and often gets a lot of aces, but it is difficult to play like that on clay as he is not performing well. Evans has had some good recent tournaments and the poor form of the Lebanese player makes it likely for the Brit to win, and even the odds are quite high for that.
