Although Gasly outperformed Norris in qualifying, we can still guess that McLaren’s car is more capable than AlphaTauri and in race mode, L. Norris should rise up when we can expect downside from Gasly. It is likely that the French car was regulated more by qualification and this helped to achieve such a result.
