Another interesting match in Sydney here A. Karatsev (atp-20) will play against M. Kecmanovic (atp-78). Karatsev getting back from covid 19 and didn’t played in ATP Cup last week for Russia although he was in roaster and almost every tennis player losing first match after covid and question how does Russian will play because this will his first match this season knowing that last one was more then 2 months before. Kecmanovic also didn’t play in ATP Cup but I have no news that he had covid and after great tennis against Travaglia he is my favourite this match.

This happened a long time ago, but Norway seems quite strong in this tournament and even though Khachanov is the most serious opponent now, he can still be confidently beaten. Karen himself had relatively weak opponents, but still dropped a set and overall the Russian doesn't seem very stable. So when Ruud catches a pretty good form, I think he has a chance to win.
