Estudiantes pateko į nesėkmių ruožą, bet tos nesėkmės nėra labai netikėtos. Po nesėkmės prieš Gipuzkoa 26 points ir atsisveikinimo su Knight team nesugriuvo. Pasipildė Llorente ir iš netikėtumų galima įvardint tik pralaimėjimą namuose Gran Canaria teami 3 points, bet pastaroji team tada buvo tiesiog ant bangos. Po to, išvykoje tik 4 points nusileista Chad la Seu (irgi dabar ant bangos), nugalėta Gernika, o su lygos lyderėmis Avenida kovota iki pat paskutinių sekundžių ir pralaimėta 71-70. Paskutinėse rungtynėse Estudiantes žaidė prieš Valencia kur irgi nusileista padoriu 7 points skirtumu, tad tie 5 pralaimėjimai per 6 rungtynes neatrodo didelė tragedija.
Tuo tarpu Ferrol nutraukė savo 9 pralaimėjimų seriją prieš Leganes, tačiau prieš Gerniką vėl prasileista -17 points skirtumu.
Estudiantes jeigu neatsipalaiduos turėtų nesunkiai imti šias rungtynes.

    Ferrol is not such a wild team and rarely scores over 70 points at home. Their offense is not that great either, and plus Erjavec is injured. Chad La Seu is a wild team, probably that's why the total score is like that, but they're not always stable, so I believe Ferrol will control the game and there won't be a scoring race.

    Both teams with new additions. Estudiantes added Garrick, while Vitola arrived in Gipuzkoa. Estudiantes is a wild team, which both scores and allows over 75 points on average. Gipuzkoa, on the other hand, is more defensive, but has sharpshooter Robinson, fast and athletic tall players, and with the new addition I believe they will break through Estudiantes' defense easily.
