Daniel Evans showed last week that he is not completely recovered, but still able to play well on the grass. I watched his match against Hijkata and Evans looked pretty good, especially in the second set. Evans is playing at home, so that will be an additional motivation for him, plus his slice is working well on this grass. Tiafoe is a decent player, but lacks stability and his serves don't always work well, so I think Evans will at least take a set.

If we look at today's matches, this one seems to be one of the most interesting because of the possibility to witness a three-set battle. Although I personally do not like Borges as a player, he can still pose a challenge with his serve, even though it may seem a bit slow. However, the Spanish player is not exactly a monster lately, his age is catching up to him, but he is still much more familiar with this surface and has had good results in the past. Five or six years ago at Wimbledon, he reached the semi-finals, which says a lot about the level at which he can play on this surface. So in this match, we can hope that Borges will serve better than Netherlands did, and I think there will be some intrigue due to the age of the Spaniard, as it may be harder for him to demonstrate the same results as in the past. Therefore, I hope for a three-set battle.
