One of Britain's best tennis players, Edmund is back in tennis and looked really good in Canada in the challenger series and losing in the 1/8 round could be special for the Brit to prepare for this tournament. Watanuki qualified, but this is a regular challenger player and Edmund is better in all aspects. Seeing a good performance in Canada here I think Edmund will continue to play good tennis and Watanuki is far from being a match for Edmund and the Brit's form here against the Japanese makes me trust him and the odds against such a weak player is really good so I'm going with Edmund here
