Croatia's veterans still have firepower and while not quite the force they were four years ago, this team is still very solid and Luka Modric just seems to be aging. The Japanese are really a very dangerous team, but all the danger is created by counterattacks, and with such a high-quality midfield, the Croatians are capable of not giving them too many.
