The Frenchman barely coped with Bublik, who was clearly out of shape, while the Georgian Basilashvili was simply excellent against Lestienne and his shots were like cannons. It's normal for the Georgian's knee to fall, because if Basilashvili plays 75% like he did against Lestienne, he has to deal with the Frenchman here. Basilashvili is a titled tennis player with 5 ATP titles and in this form he can play with anyone, so I think he has a very good chance to win the matcha against a tennis player of less clear skill.
