Paskutiniu metu "Partizan" stringa, bet žaista nebuvo savoje aplinkoje, kur yra visai kito lygio team. Šį sezoną namuose nuo spalio 26 d. pralaimėta du kartus - vienas iš jų ABA lygoje, kitas gruodžio pabaigoje prieš "Virtus". Bendrai Eurolygoje pralaimėjo keturias rungtynes iš penkių ir tokiai teami tokia pralaimėjimų serija užsitęsti neturėtų. Kiekvienos rungtynės siekiant vietos šešetuke tampa vis svarbesnės, o žinant, kas laukia Belgrade, turėtume išvysti vėl komandą ant sparnų.
Nors "Maccabi" sąlygos neblogos - nereikės niekur periodauti, pirmose dvigubos savaitės rungtynėse nesunkiai įveiktas "Virtus", tačiau šiuo atveju renkuosi tiesiog namie kur kas better žaidžiančią komandą.

Their offensive engine is working perfectly, making it difficult for anyone to defend against their generated numbers. As I suspected, Barcelona is heading downhill towards the end of the season, with Lapro and Shengellia also being dropped. This will make it even harder for the elders to keep up with the fast-paced Valencia youth, and the older trees, Willy and Vesely, won't be able to hold up under the basket.
