Thiem looked really solid against Marterer and although he lost 2 set but match was controlled by Austrian. Gasquet is old and having trouble playing long matches so here on clay I don’t think he will be able to play good against Thiem

The Spanish man, who looks very good, continues to amaze with how well he performs on the hard courts of America. Although, as usual, sometimes his concentration fades, but the Peruvian team is defeated. Mensik, being his first tournament, had a tough match against Boyer, but the mistakes made by the Czech man will not be given as gifts to the Spanish man anymore. I truly believe that the Spanish man will win and it's a shame that he is the favorite, but it's not just because the Czech man looks weak, but also because the Spanish man plays very well.
