As I mentioned earlier, predicting that Juventus will only have one game in the series and there's no need to be a prophet to foresee that, but I believed that home court advantage would make a difference. However, just as in the regular season, they struggled away from home in the playoffs. Now, the crucial game is at home where they have a chance to advance to the semifinals. There's a lot at stake, with a lot of emotions involved, and it promises to be an exciting finish. How better could it be for LKL in the past few years, than these quarterfinals between Juventus and Kabelis, and Neptunas and Sabonis?
Personally, I will continue to bet on Kabelis with such a coefficient. Yes, the home court advantage may play a role, as it will definitely be hot, but in my opinion, experience is the key aspect in this matchup, and it will determine the outcome. (I wouldn't be upset if Juventus wins)
Juventus is heavily dependent on their defenders, and in some areas, it seems like Kabelis has nothing to put up against them, as they are individually much stronger. However, on the other hand, Kabelis has a lot of tricks up their sleeve, with experience being one of them. They have an amazing ability to flop and sell fouls, and it wouldn't surprise me if they have special training for these kinds of things. I believe players like Orelikas and Sirvydis can shoot enough 3-pointers to be real game changers in these playoffs. Overall, I am satisfied with the current odds against Juventus, and am looking forward to a great game.
