Luciano Lavinia - Hrda Luisa

18-year-old Italian Luciano Lavinia meets 24-year-old German Hrda Luisa. The German has only started taking professional tennis seriously in late August of this year, and has been opting for clay courts. She hasn't shown anything particularly impressive, usually making it through qualifiers and then falling in the first round, but has also reached the quarterfinals. On clay, she seems to struggle slightly more compared to the Italian, who excels on this surface. The Italian made her professional debut this year, but her best achievement so far is reaching the second round of this tournament, after successfully getting through qualifiers. However, this is only her sixth tournament, so I have no doubt that bigger things await her in Peru in the future. I am choosing Luciano Lavinia for Peru, hoping that she will win, as she seems to be feeling more comfortable on clay courts.
