Dodig is one of my favorite rising talents at the moment. The Croat has a solid serve, and both his forehand and backhand are very good for his age, especially his backhand. Dodig will be playing at home, and in the early stages he doesn't falter in Croatia, always going deep in tournaments. I believe that this trend will continue today as he is playing against a Spaniard who is not very consistent and can lose to anyone on a given day. His serve is also not very reliable. They met about a month ago and Taberner won 2-0, but Matej was up a set in the first match before faltering. I think that playing at home will prevent those kinds of errors, and the team has made tactical adjustments.
