2024/06/04 00:08 Dodig @130 8/10

Dodig is one of my favorite rising talents at the moment. The Croat has a solid serve, and both his forehand and backhand are very good for his age, especially his backhand. Dodig will be playing at home, and in the early stages he doesn't falter in Croatia, always going deep in tournaments. I believe that this trend will continue today as he is playing against a Spaniard who is not very consistent and can lose to anyone on a given day. His serve is also not very reliable. They met about a month ago and Taberner won 2-0, but Matej was up a set in the first match before faltering. I think that playing at home will prevent those kinds of errors, and the team has made tactical adjustments.

    Friedsam Anna-Lena @110 8/10
Friedsam Anna-Lena, a 31-year-old veteran from Germany, who mainly expects to achieve something only on indoor hard courts, because here the movement, one stroke and points are under control and she has enough strength. After playing more normally this year, she only participated in ITF level indoor hard court tournaments. At the beginning of the season, she played in four tournaments, with one win, two semi-finals, and one quarter-final, so she hasn't had the best results. Kudermetova Polina, a 22-year-old Russian, did not play for a month due to an injury before this tournament. In the first match against Rosatelo, although she secured a win, her game did not convince me. It seemed like she was finishing on her last bit of energy, and her serves looked noticeably weaker in the second set, so I think she will need to settle in a bit. Plus, the German's experience should come into play here. In my opinion, this will be the central match.
