Dallas Mavericks - NBA

06/17 00:00 False9 -10.00

I watched every Mavs playoff game and quite a few Celtics games and I'm taking the Dallas team here, because in some of the games they were constantly improving and now they have reached a level where not only the unbeatable superstars Luka and Kyrie are working, but there are also many supporting players, which used to be their biggest issue: the Twin Towers Lively and Gafford rotate remarkably, they are thrown alley-oops several times in each game period and no one can defend them, not even the better teams like the Timberwolves defending them. Lively didn't miss a single shot throughout the series (16/16), breaking the NBA playoff series record. These numbers are probably all dunks, unless I forgot one lay-up. PJ Washington and Derrick Jones Jr. also help. Both scorers make important 3-pointers, so when they double Luka, the opponents suffer. There were stages when PJ even played better than Kyrie, against OKC. The Mavs sorted out their defense, even Dončič is defending. Luka is undoubtedly the best basketball player in the world, it was evident against the Clippers and OKC that he was playing through injuries, but now he has fully recovered, maybe slowed down a bit, because there were reports of some pain in multiple places. Luka is the first person in NBA history to lead a series in points, rebounds, assists, steals, 3-pointers made, and free throws made on the way to the finals. I can't imagine the Celtics stopping this beast, and on top of that, they have Irving, who usually picks up the pace in the second half of games and is truly unstoppable. It's worth mentioning that Kyrie played in Boston, left, and had a conflict with their fans, so this series is personal for him and I believe he will be even sharper. The Celtics "superstars" Brown and Tatum are not on the same level, even though they have reliable names on the team, but I don't like their style of play. They often try to shoot 3-pointers even if they're not falling, and they had two close losses against weaker teams like the Pacers, and after the game against the Heat without Butler and the Cavs at their home arena, they barely pulled off a victory. The Mavericks look more powerful.

In these Finals, as I expected, they gather a lot of points, excluding the third game (which they seem to be unable to play in any series this year ;D) in the others they scored 38, 34, and 35 points, and also perform well in shooting. So once again they get a high total, and I believe that's why I go because there is one of those games where legends are made, maybe not Game 7 but the 2-2 series in the Fifth, especially being at home, means that it's necessary for Peru to win, as the Pacers saw how difficult it was for OKC to take at least one in a "must win" situation. The league's MVP and top scorer must show their highest class, and I believe they will. I am expecting 37-40 points here.

    OKC Thunder - IND Pacers

    (+10.5 IND Pacers) @-125 8/10
Out of 4 games, only 1 was won with a bigger margin than this line in the 2-2 series. After sharing the win with Peru, the team will play for the 5th time and it is time for the Pacers team to either win or play very successfully once again. The Pacers can play with a relatively high line, as even though OKC is the favorite, they are not dominating as per the odds. I believe it will be a very stubborn game as this is the turning point of the series, so I trust that the Pacers can resist and perhaps even win, as they have done before.

    OKC Thunder - IND Pacers

    (-9.5 OKC Thunder) @-109 6/10
Everyone loves the Underdog's story, but I think it ended after the 4th game when Indiana couldn't hold onto their home advantage. OKC is playing better basketball this season, dominating at home during the playoffs and even winning by double digits in 8 out of 11 games, including a +16 win against the Pacers in the second game when they were in a must-win situation after losing the first one by 3 and a half quarters. I don't think OKC will give up their home advantage and if they win, they will do so by a double-digit margin. I am looking forward to seeing something similar in the second game.

In the previous game, there was just a small margin until a similar over, so again I go with the same thought, the offensive potential for both teams is quite high, although defensively it seems more serious for OKC, but again looking at how young players lack experience, I still believe there will be many shots from afar, fast attacks, and turnovers, which makes me believe that Indiana will not relax too much and will cover the over with mutual efforts.

    (Pascal Siakam Over 19.5 Points) @-111 8/10
Siakam is very underrated I would say, with such a total, he is even more reliable with points than other Indiana basketball players, he plays a lot, can expand his game in Peru and this total is not too big for him, especially when okc in my eyes is not adequately prepared for him, because there the weakest spot is defense.
