In the second period, the Netherlands defeated Canada by scoring 4 goals. This was expected from the Netherlands, but Canada was disappointing with their failure to score a goal. The Dutch team definitely has the talent to score goals, but their defense was clearly weak, as evidenced by their performance in the World Cup.
