Germany is definitely not the favorite that bookmakers are depicting it to be today. There will be pressure and opening matches are historically never easy. The Scots will demonstrate typical British football, will close their defense, play physically, and try to show something similar to a bus with counterattacks. To me, this signals a difficult and low-scoring match. In this case, the Germans will have to constantly apply pressure and push forward, especially if they fail to score a quick goal. All of this leads to a high number of corners, which I will try to bet on. In their last friendlies, the Germans had quite a few corners (13 against Greece, 11 against Ukraine, 6 against the Netherlands).
